The Apprentice Quarters, available to class attendees and visiting herbalists, is located at the downstairs floor of the Studio. It contains four bunk beds, each renting for $25 per night. There is NO charge for those out-of-town participants attending Apprentice Wednesday.

The Apprentice Quarters in the Studio

Each Bunk is $25.00 Per Night; There are four bunks. If you wish to rent the entire Apprentice Quarters it is $100 per night.

The The Apprentice Quarters is located in the lower floor of the Studio. The Studio main floor contains the class room, a sitting area and library. Those occupying the Apprentice Quarters are encouraged to enjoy the Studio main floor when classes are not in session. There is a nice covered deck overlooking the lake and the mountains beyond.

There is a bathroom with shower just outside the Apprentice Quarters. A microwave and small refrigerator are also located nearby. A selection of tea and other treats are available on The Studio main floor.

There is no television reception at the Apprentice Quarters. However, there is a television with a DVD player and a collection of movies for guests to enjoy. You may wish to bring a cell phone, but don't bring bottled water--The Studio has ample sweet tasting mountain well water!

Summer Apprentice Quarter's guests are welcomed to enjoy the grounds surrounding the Studio. There is a pathway which leads to the Mushroom Garden, a quiet retreat amid towering Balsam Fir. There is also a Sunset Firepit on the upper level of the property. Flower gardens abound, and quiet seating areas are tucked away amid the gardens.

Winter visitors, as well as summer, are invited to use the Barrel Sauna, located just outside The Apprentice Quarters. The Apprentice Quarters makes an excellent retreat for cross-country and downhill skiers as the Studio is just a half mile from trails and a ski lift. It is also located near downhill skiing at Brundage Mountain and snow shoeing, skate skiing or Nordic skiing on the groomed trails of Ponderosa State Park.

The Apprentice Quarters, as well as The Studio is a non-smoking establishment. Pets are not allowed at the Apprentice Quarters or The Studio. If you need pet friendly accommodations, inquire about the Cottage in The Meadow.
